Here I'm capturing the sun on water, with a hint of trees and blossom in the reflection. This works well with 'Wakening Spring II', for a room which needs some calm colour and light. Here we have reflections that could be sky, flowers that are almost-but-not-quite in focus, and a landscape that behaves more like a memory than a map. What lies beneath. Limited edition of 5. The first image in a project on the Ammonite Pavement in Lyme Regis. The marks on the stones combine with reflected water and hints of what lies beneath the surface - years of buried fossils and secrets. This project will evolve through the year.

December. Limited edition of 10. An imagined view outside to a frosted December day, enjoying the Christmas lights within. This image featured in the A Smith Gallery exhibition 'Expressionism' and was one of only 27 to be featured in the accompanying book.
Alleyways, Greece. Limited Edition of 10. An impression of getting lost among the alleyways, surrounded by vibrant bougainvillea and limewashed walls.

Graffiti No. 1. Limited edition of 20. Taken in Bath, in a neighbourhood you don't see in the tourist shots. Under the railway arches, a peeling and overpainted door yielded this combined image. The door has since been painted white.
Hot Sennen Summer. Limited edition of 15. Taken on a very hot day in Sennen, this image combines weathered, abandoned timber, vibrant paint on the side of boats in the harbour and the seedlings from local fields of rape.
Fire 2. Corroded metal provides the basis for an image of wildfire, suggestive of the effects of climate change we now see too often.
Waves 2. Sunrise again, but this time the wave formation is cropped to show influences of Rothko and add abstraction.
Waves 3. Camera movement is used to depict the ceaseless motion of the incoming sea.
Weird Creatures. Reflections of railings in water form an abstract image suggestive of strange creatures at the edge of a wave on the beach.
