My work spans the space between painting and photography, using the camera more as a paintbrush than a simple recording device.
My signature lies in transforming overlooked fragments of the world—boat hulls, hoarding, doorways, reeds and fossils—into soft, painterly abstractions. I’m drawn to places where surfaces have been weathered and worn, and I layer colour, light and texture until the image speaks of something unseen. The result is work that invites you to linger in the quiet, in-between spaces most people walk past.

Prints
All images are available in small limited editions and each piece is carefully proofed and signed by me.
My preferred paper is Fotospeed Natural Soft Textured Bright White 315gsm, a 100% cotton fine art paper. After extensive trials I prefer the very neutral colour of this paper, which gives a gentle texture, crisp whites and no cast to the tones in the image. Prints are made using archival quality inks to guarantee the longevity of the print, giving you many years of enjoyment of your chosen image.
Prints are wrapped in tissue and packed in robust tubes for tracked courier delivery. Prices depend on the size ordered. I will suggest the optimum size of each image but can produce custom sizes to suit your space.
If you’re within 30 miles of Bath I can also deliver framed prints. I usually use a white wooden 4cm frame but will discuss all of the options with you.
